2026 Celebration of Peace hosted by Jim & Judy Boscov
Thank you to all of our guests who attended Celebration of Peace! Having you all in the room means you are in support of the work we do here at Safe Berks to provide a safe have to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Our fund a need is for mattresses at the Safe House. Over the past decade, 2,300 adults and 2,280 children have turned to our Safe House for safety. Together, those 4,580 survivors spent 156,793 nights in our care. As you can imagine, our beds have seen significant use and many now need to be replaced. By helping us, you are also supporting partners in our own community. Bedding will be purchased through Boscov’s, and mattresses through Blankets of Hope. That means your generosity has a ripple effect. If you like to contribute to the fund a need, please click here.

About the Event:
The Celebration of Peace hosted by Jim & Judy Boscov is Safe Berks’ signature annual event bringing together community leaders, advocates, partners, and supporters who believe everyone deserves to live free from violence. This meaningful evening honors individuals and organizations who advance peace, justice, and safety in Berks County while raising vital funds to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Through inspiring stories, community recognition, and collective generosity, the Celebration of Peace shines a light on the life changing work of Safe Berks and the shared responsibility we all have in creating a safer, more compassionate community.
